Harmony & James Stanger Wedding~
Let me preface this wedding post with the fact that Harmony and I have been friends for years. On top of my normal emotional responses that normally happen during a wedding day - this day made me tear up three different times. At one point she and I were standing in a back room waiting for the big moment and I looked at her and got all teary eyed like I was her father giving her away at the alter. It was an immediate emotional response. I get to have these moments at every wedding like most photographers - The fragile excited moments when no one is there but the two of us. This goes for both the groom and Bride of course. I consider them to be the most private moments of the entire day as almost no one is privy to them. Harmony never looked more beautiful than in that moment. I have never been more proud to be her friend and the chosen photographer for her special day. I sometimes have a tough time deciding where I want to be at a close friends wedding - behind the lens or in the audience. After this wedding I decided I would never hesitate to say yes to being the storyteller. I would hate to miss all the moments unfold and not be able to craft the events of the wedding. With more Heart than usual - I present Harmony and James.
