I have been shooting professionally for about ten years. It started with shooting friends portraits , family portraits , and of course friends' weddings!  As a child , my mother bought me a new camera every few years as I had always been fascinated with capturing photos. Each camera , was nothing less than a plastic box with some minor functionality so I learned to be careful about my picture selections. There was nothing like taking rolls of film to be developed and waiting for them to come back! The excitement of waiting to actually see how well you did or how many photos you messed up! Ahh the good ol' days . I've been majorly influenced by Life magazine and Vanity Fair publications and some of my favorite people that have nurtured my 'styling' are Peggy Sirota , Annie Leibovitz , and Bryan Johnson from Birmingham , Alabama. I always 'feel' the effortlessly evident emotions of their work. It is the 'realness' of their captures that remains true to today's standard of creating a false attitude.
